  1. I agree with the quote you posted from Janet Gonzalez-Mena. We need to make sure that as we are teaching, guiding, and exposing childrent to new cultures and beliefs that we are not eliminating their own cultures and beliefs. We need to celebrate who we are while also honoring and understanding those who are different from us.
